Job Title: Specialist, Subcontracts Program ManagerJob Code: 43715Job Location: Northampton, MA.Schedule: 9/80- Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description:The Specialist, Subcontracts Program Manager, for Maritime Imaging Systems in Northampton, MA will use their past experience in Supply Chain and/or Program or Product Management to lead a cross functional team to develop a robust Supply Chain Strategy, and execute for key programs across the MIS Programs/Products. In collaboration with functional leaders, the Specialist SCPM will institute tailored “right sized” practices and approaches for successful execution on early engineering design efforts, to complete product life cycle with a focus risk and opportunity management to ensure top notch execution. The Specialist SCPM will be responsible for program cost, schedule and compliance with internal and external regulations with respect to materials and subcontracts.In this highly visible role, the Specialist SCPM will collaborate across functions and be part of the Supply Chain team serving as a key interface to Program and Product Offices, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Operations. This individual will also be a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices.Essential Functions:Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other functions for key Products/ProgramsDevelop and execute Supply Chain strategies and actions to support full Program lifecycleEnsure timely completion of all material and subcontract program milestonesAs the Program’s Material and Subcontracts Cost Account Manager (CAM), be accountable for the material and subcontract program budgets, and drive actions to improve financial performanceAnalyze key performance indicators and identify challenged areas and champion continued improvementsLead others by influence in a matrixed environmentDevelop and Manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities Support compliance with all internal policies and external laws and regulationsAssist Program Finance in rolling up quarterly financial status against the AOP and Short Term Forecast, EAC and ETCWork with Supply Chain team to develop and support the strategic supplier relationshipsCoordinate and align supplier strategy with Category Management Develop Supply Chain Recovery and communicate critical issues to stakeholders with solution focused actionsResponsible for all Supply Chain inputs in support of all proposal activitiesCoordinate Subcontracts involvement with requirements developmentProven ability to break large complex issues into smaller individual approaches to achieve business objectivesAbility to communicate effectively, to internal executive leadership or line management both written and verballyAbility to obtain a US Secret security clearanceQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Experience in Supply Chain and Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR etc.)Experience with New Business Proposals / Capture Experience on competitive and/or sole source pursuitsExperience in Subcontractor Management through various stages of development through production4-8 years’ experience and knowledge in FAR, DFARS, ITARPreferred Qualifications:Experience in developing technical statements of workPMP CertificationAdvanced degreeIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington State, DC and Virginia (Greater D.C. area), Denver, or NYC areas is $79K-$147K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $69K-$128K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
