Registered Nurse - ICUThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-level nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients. This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ICU RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional critical care.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to life-threatening situations.Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor patient condition, adjusting care as necessary.Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement individualized care plans.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Family Support: Provide compassionate support to patients' families, offering updates and assisting in making informed decisions regarding care.Emergency Response: Respond quickly to life-threatening emergencies, demonstrating advanced clinical skills in critical care situations.Education: Educate patients and families on post-care procedures and assist in the transition to recovery.Qualifications:Current Ohio RN LicenseBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred1+ years of ICU experience (preferred), or relevant experience in acute care or critical care settings.BLS & ACLS Certification required (additional certifications in critical care nursing are a plus).Strong critical thinking, assessment, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work well under pressure and manage high-stress situations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Benefits Include:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and holiday payRetirement plan with employer matchingContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesRelocation assistance available (if applicable)Supportive and collaborative work environmentApply now for immediate consideration!
