Welding Technician (Semiconductor Construction)

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring experienced welders with a background in semiconductor or cleanroom-related construction. This position focuses on automated orbital welding and supports tool install, piping, and process systems on high-profile fab construction projects in Arizona.
Position: Welding Technician (Semiconductor Construction)Location: North Phoenix, AZ (TSMC Site - 85085)
Type: Temp to Hire
Salary: $38-$45 | DOE
Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities:
- Perform automated orbital welding on stainless steel and high-purity tubing per semiconductor standards.
- Assist with pipe fitting and mechanical install as needed for fab construction.
- Read isometric drawings and follow layout instructions for pipe routes.
- Operate orbital welding machines and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Work in or around cleanroom environments following contamination control procedures.
- Collaborate with field teams to maintain schedule and minimize rework.
- 3+ years of orbital or automated welding experience , preferably on semiconductor or high-purity gas piping projects.
- Prior experience supporting fab construction projects
- Familiarity with tubing prep, purge processes, and welding stainless steel (316L, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and fabrication plans.
- Comfortable working extended hours or weekends during construction peak periods.
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certified is a plus.
