Job Description
Title
Cardiac Cath / Interventional Lab RN - Adult

Schedule
Shift: 5x8 Days - 06:45-15:15, Mon-Fri
Occasional late days: typically 4-5 per month (rare after 17:00)
Call: one day per week and every 5th weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience (cardiac/cath lab preferred)
- License: NC or Compact license acceptable
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Key clinical skills: diagnostic & interventional cardiac caths, left/right heart cath, PCI/stent placement, IABP placement/removal, Swan-Ganz monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, IV therapy (including blood administration, infusion pumps, starting IVs), dysrhythmia recognition/management, sheath removal/monitoring, ACT, cardioversion

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions including PCI, stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy as required during procedures.
- Recognize and respond to potential complications or changes in patient condition.
