Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Madison, Wisconsin. The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) role, providing specialized care for critically ill or injured pediatric patients. The position supports comprehensive, family-centered care in an acute pediatric environment and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day/Evening 12-hour shifts (7:00am7:30pm), Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required; minimum hours per week: 36.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Charting system experience: Epic
  • Experience: Strong Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience and at least 1 year of cardiovascular (CV) experience; 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty being submitted to
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma level experience at Level II in a high acuity hospital setting
• Additional Information: The traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Float rotation may be required to NICU and general care, as needed.
