Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading advanced environmental technical work in support of complex projects within the EHS business unit. This role encompasses oversight and execution of environmental studies, field investigations, data interpretation, and high-level regulatory and technical support aligned with the department's focus areas. The position plays a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of projects across air, water, and waste programs, while actively strengthening client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of service offerings.
This position requires deep knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and industry best practices, along with the ability to exercise independent professional judgment on complex issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7–15+ years of professional environmental experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility and leadership in consulting or related fields. This position involves a combination of office-based technical work and field activities, typically approximately 70% office and 30% field or travel, depending on project and departmental needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex environmental compliance projects across air, water, and waste programs from scoping through closeout
- Serve as primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery
