Description Of Work The Education Specialist works in the High Schools within the Lincoln Metro area to support students within the TRIO Upward Bound program. Experience providing educational learning activities—improve academic performance, organizes educational planning, and preparation for enrollment in post-secondary education. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to drive a 12-passenger van Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirement as well as a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Fluent in a second language other than English. Demonstrate ability to communicate with high school aged youth Experience in working with school staff, and parents/ guardians. Experience in assessing student needs.
