Punch Press Lead

Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in precision metal stampings, washers, spacers, and shims, is seeking a Punch Press Lead to join their team. As a Punch Press Lead, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Press Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Punch Press Lead

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00/hour

Shift:  Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 3:30PM (overtime available post-training)

What's the Job?

• Lead the press setup and operation processes to ensure efficient production.
• Facilitate training for team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed during press operations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize press room workflows and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of training, process improvements, and operational data.

What's Needed?

• Deep understanding of press setup and operation processes.
• HS/GED Completion
• Experience utilizing micrometers/calipers
• Strong leadership and training abilities to guide team members effectively.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software and processes (1+ year).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
