Travel RN – ICU Float (Nights)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU settings including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience and unit need
• Provide direct patient care for ICU-level patients including sedated, intubated, and patients requiring vasopressors
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining patient ratios of 1:3
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 in ICU settings and adapt to varying assignments within a single shift as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient safety and quality of care
• Document accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
• Experience caring for sedated, intubated, and vasoactive medication-dependent patients
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to float to multiple ICU and IMC units, including the potential for multiple assignments within a single shift
• Availability to work 75% weekend hours as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, or Surgical/Trauma ICU environments
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in float pool or multi-unit assignments
• Strong interpersonal and team communication skills in high-acuity settings
