Electronic Assembler

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:24 PM – 11:54 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Medical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and optical components into subassemblies and finished medical devices. The ideal candidate will have previous electronic assembly experience, strong soldering skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and optical components according to work instructions and specifications.
• Perform soldering tasks in compliance with J-STD standards and maintain certification requirements.
• Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct testing on assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products using manual, semi-automatic, and automated test equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, assembly equipment, and production machinery.
• Follow all ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Rotate between various production processes within a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Complete required documentation and utilize basic computer applications for tracking and communication.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with team members and other shifts regarding production needs and equipment status.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of electronic assembly experience.
• Demonstrated soldering experience and ability to obtain J-STD soldering certification.
• Basic understanding of electronic assembly and soldering techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent use of hands for detailed assembly work.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) of at least 20/40 in each eye and ability to distinguish colors.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and requires the use of hand tools, assembly equipment, and PPE. Candidates must be comfortable working in a production setting while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
