Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement)

Job TitleJob DescriptionHelpOperate automated Human Resources systems to create, process and verify personnel actions.Provide accurate technical advice to customers to resolve difficult or controversial civilian human resources issues.Apply a thorough understanding of classification principles and standards to management.Determine employee qualifications for placement.Set salary determinations for employees.Advise management on all stages of the recruitment process.Provide guidance on merit system principles, prohibited personnel practices, and the development of a valid selection statement.Provide advice to management on civilian Human Resources regulations and procedures.
