Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Memphis, TN Schedule: Evening ShiftTuesday – Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (flexible based on business needs)Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On-Site | Fulfillment Center | Facilities & Equipment MaintenanceAbout the RoleThe Maintenance Technician helps keep a high-volume fulfillment center running safely and efficiently by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs. This role supports automated warehouse systems, conveyor equipment, and facility infrastructure that are critical to healthcare operations and order fulfillment.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, warehouse maintenance, automation, conveyor systems, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations.What You Will DoPerform preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and material handling equipment (MHE)Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical issuesClear conveyor jams and help restore equipment to operation quicklyInspect, clean, and adjust sensors, barcode scanners, switches, and other automation componentsSupport maintenance of automated systems and warehouse equipmentRepair warehouse infrastructure, including racking, dock equipment, safety barriers, and lightingComplete work orders and document maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Assist with equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concernsPartner with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtimeFollow all safety procedures and maintenance standardsBasic RequirementsTypically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalentHigh School Diploma or GED1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, warehouse maintenance, manufacturing, automation, or a related fieldExperience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairsExperience troubleshooting mechanical systemsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and stand for extended periodsAbility to work in a warehouse or fulfillment center environmentPreferred Skills / ExperienceExperience working with conveyor systems, sortation equipment, or material handling equipment (MHE)Experience in automated warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or healthcare fulfillment operationsFamiliarity with electrical systems, motors, belts, chains, gears, sensors, and control circuitsExperience working with CMMS, warehouse control systems (WCS), or maintenance tracking softwareExposure to PLCs, automation equipment, or automated guided vehicles (AGVs)Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related fieldStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWork EnvironmentOn-site role in a fast-paced fulfillment and distribution centerEvening Schedule:Tuesday – Friday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (flexible)Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMFrequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and liftingWork around conveyors, automation equipment, and warehouse machineryMay require working at heights using ladders or aerial liftsSafety-focused environment supporting healthcare and fulfillment operationsOvertime or schedule flexibility may be required based on operational needsWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
