Benefits 401(k) Company parties Competitive salary Flexible schedule Free food & snacks Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Job Title Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic (Spine, Extremity, Pain Management – procedures only) Location Central New Jersey: Old Bridge, Hamilton, Brick, Edison Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Orthopedic Spine and Extremity practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our renowned Orthopedic surgeons to provide exceptional patient care, assist in surgeries, and contribute to the overall success of our practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough pre‑operative and post‑operative assessments of patients. Review patient medical histories and perform physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X‑rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Work up patients and indicate injections and procedures. Manage a mix of follow‑ups, new patients, telemedicine visits, injections, and surgery assistance (optional). Collaborate with Orthopedic Spine and Extremity surgeons and other PAs to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Provide patient education on treatment options, potential risks, and post‑operative care. Conduct follow‑up appointments to monitor patients’ progress and address concerns. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Assist in coordinating patient care, including referrals and consultations. No rounding or call duties; weekends are optional. Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans. Stay current with advancements in Orthopedic Surgery. Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or NP program. Current New Jersey state license and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Minimum of 2 years experience in an Orthopedic or related specialty (training available for qualified candidates). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment. Schedule & Hours 10‑hour shifts or 8‑hour shifts. Choose your own hours; day shift only (Monday‑Friday). No nights, no weekends required. Experience Physician Assistant or NP: 2 years (required). EMR systems: 2 years (required). Language Spanish (preferred).
