About the Position

Job Title: General Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year preferred in abdominal doppler imaging and transplants License: South Carolina ultrasound licensure not required Certifications: BLS and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required Must-Have: Graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Proficient in abdominal doppler imaging and transplants Description: This position is for a General Ultrasound Tech. The tech will work three 12-hour night shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The daily caseload per tech may vary. There is no on-call requirement. The tech will float between different facilities as needed. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. The tech will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in various ultrasound procedures. Daily responsibilities will involve performing ultrasounds on adults and geriatrics. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please consider this before confirming any assignments during that season.
