Infectious Disease physician job in New York : A health services network on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their team as a Physician Quality Lead overseeing HIV/Hepatitis, STI, Tuberculosis, and PREP care across multiple locations in Suffolk County, LIAbout the Opportunity:Shift: DaySchedule: 4 Days Clinical, 1 Day AdminHours: Full-timeSetting: Multi-location Suffolk County, LIResponsibilities:Providing Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine care for patients with HIV, Hepatitis, and STIParticipating in Tuberculosis care with the local Department of HealthParticipating in Case Conferences with care managersManaging general outpatient infectious disease referralsCollaborating with Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Women's Health, MDs, NPs, and PAsQualifications:Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)Active/Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEABoard CertificationLeadership experience in the Infectious Disease specialtyDEA registrationAbility to work with diverse patient populations in a community health settingBoard Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
