Material Handler
Location: 8840 Meldrum Lane, Houston TX
Budget and Compensation
- Pay rate: $21.00 – $25.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Overtime: Possible, estimated 0–10 hours/week, not guaranteed.

The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.
- Issue and transfer parts for production.
- Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
- SAP experience preferred.
- 2 year minimum materials experience required.
- Local to Houston.
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of materials management experience required.
- SAP experience is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills required.
- Ideal candidate is self-directed and proactive.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. (Training will be provided.)
Length of Assignment
- 6 months.
- Potential for conversion to full-time.
Location
- Candidates must be local to Houston.
Work Environment
- 80% warehouse/shop, 20% desk.
- Not climate-controlled.
- Fast-paced and dynamic.
Training
- NEST in Houston.
Shift/Hours
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 16:30.
- Occasional weekend work may be required.
