What You'll Do:
- Set up and adjust various types of presses or manufacturing machines, loading materials and fine-tuning settings like pressure, speed, and temperature to meet production specifications.
- Operate different machinery to produce quality products while meeting production goals.
- Perform routine inspections during operation to ensure products meet quality standards, making adjustments as needed.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, tool changes, and cleaning; troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report more complex problems.
- Follow all safety protocols, use appropriate PPE, and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Document production activities, inspection results, downtime, and equipment issues accurately.
- Identify and resolve issues like jams or misfeeds promptly, making adjustments or seeking assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality control staff, and maintenance teams to improve efficiency and resolve production challenges.
Required Skills:
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery such as presses, conveyors, or other industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic mechanical comprehension and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with team members.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and protocols.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with different types of manufacturing machinery or processes.
- Knowledge of simple machine maintenance or repairs.
- Previous experience maintaining production records or documentation.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a machine or press operator in manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not requiredtraining will be provided for motivated candidates.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [specified weight, if applicable].
- Willingness to work [shift details, if applicable].
- Certification in safety or machinery operation is a plus but not necessary.
