Registered Nurse (RN) Unit ManagerThe Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations for a designated nursing unit. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative leadership team in a fast-paced rehabilitation and long-term care environment.Position OverviewThe RN Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing services on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of a 40-bed nursing unit, ensuring efficient and effective care deliverySupervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAsAddress staff performance, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations when necessaryComplete required documentation such as assessments, reports, audits, and care plansCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of resident careImplement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulationsCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and external agenciesMake sound clinical and administrative decisions in a timely mannerQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable stateMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (long-term care preferred)Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsSolid understanding of clinical practices, regulatory standards, and long-term care operationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyFlexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as neededMust demonstrate reliability and consistent attendanceCompensation & BenefitsSalary up to $120,000 annuallyDaily Pay option availableComprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanVoluntary Supplemental BenefitsThe Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
