Company: Jaycon Systems, LLC | Department: Sales & Marketing | Location: Remote (LATAM or other) | Schedule: ~30 hours/week Role Objective Responsible for developing, maintaining and evolving Jaycon's visual identity, leading advertising design, internal and external communication materials, and the overall art direction of the brand. The role contributes to positioning Jaycon as an innovative, professional and reliable company in engineering, product development and manufacturing. The designer transforms technical, commercial and corporate information into clear, engaging and consistent visual communication, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Project Management and Engineering. The role also supports our sister brand, Jiekang. Main Responsibilities 1. Brand Identity & Art Direction Maintain, create and evolve Jaycon's visual identity. Develop rebranding projects and brand updates. Create and maintain the Brand Book and brand usage guidelines. Define standards for typography, colors, iconography, photography, illustrations and composition. Ensure visual consistency across all Jaycon channels and materials. Ensure new graphic materials follow established brand standards. Develop visual systems that make the brand easily recognizable. 2. External Digital Design Design graphic content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms. Create posts, carousels, infographics, stories, covers and digital campaigns. Design graphic assets for campaigns. Create banners, digital advertisements and landing page graphics. Adapt campaigns to different formats and platforms. Develop visual concepts that simplify the communication of complex engineering and manufacturing services. Design commercial and corporate presentations. 3. Audiovisual Design & Content Design motion graphics and animations for social media, presentations and campaigns. Create reels, short videos, intros, outros and animated graphic elements. Develop storyboards and visual concepts for video production. Edit and adapt audiovisual content for different platforms. Create animations to explain engineering, manufacturing, prototyping, PCB, injection molding and product development processes. Create videos for different events and trade shows. Research and source video content and use AI tools as part of the creative process. 4. Web Design & Digital Visual Experience Create visual concepts for pages and sections of Jaycon.com. Design banners, graphics, icons, diagrams and other visual elements for the website. Collaborate with the web team to maintain consistency between the brand identity and the digital experience. Propose UI/UX visual improvements from a branding perspective. Develop icon systems for Jaycon's services, industries, processes and technologies. Design graphic assets for conversion-focused landing pages. Support product sales projects for Jiekang. 5. Blogs, Magazines & Publications Design images, graphics and infographics for blog articles. Create layouts for magazines, ebooks, white papers and corporate publications. Design covers and editorial systems. Maintain visual consistency across Jaycon publications. Develop reusable templates that improve content production efficiency. 6. Internal Documentation Design manuals, guides, books and internal documents. Create templates for corporate documents. Design organizational charts, process diagrams and training materials. Maintain an organized library of official templates and graphic resources. Create monthly internal videos with company news, events, Employee of the Month, birthdays and seasonal activities. Create graphic materials for internal emails. Create photos and profile data for each Jaycon employee. 7. Events & Printed Materials Design materials for trade shows, exhibitions and events. Create banners, booths, backdrops, brochures, flyers and cards. Design promotional materials and corporate collateral. Prepare production-ready files for printing and manufacturing. Create videos for different events and trade shows. Define the visual direction for product, process and project photography. Select, edit and retouch images. Create simulated renders and product visualizations for products developed by the engineering team. Create product compositions for marketing. Maintain an organized library of photography, renders, videos and corporate images. Use AI tools to generate or complement visual resources while maintaining Jaycon's brand standards. Create images for different Jaycon and Jiekang projects. 9. Design File Organization & Management Maintain an organized Jaycon graphic library in Google Drive. Establish a standardized structure for editable files, final files and design resources. Maintain version control for Jaycon and Jiekang branding materials. Organize files by year, campaign, service, project and content type. Ensure logos, templates, photography, icons and official resources are easily accessible. Maintain properly named source files, organized and ready for future modifications. 10. Design Systems & Templates Create reusable templates for social media. Create presentation templates. Create templates for guides. Create templates for internal documents. Develop custom icons, components and graphic elements. Create templates for Jiekang projects. How the Role Works (Day-to-Day Process) 1. Initial coordination. Coordinate directly with the requester to confirm the objective of the material, audience, required content, format and dimensions, platform or intended use, deadline and references. Clarify anything missing before starting. 2. Content & asset review. Review existing Jaycon materials in Google Drive (previous designs, brand assets, photography, renders, videos, icons, presentations) to keep consistency and avoid recreating assets. 3. Concept development. Define the visual direction using Adobe Creative Suite, AI image/video tools, AI assistants for content organization, copy, research and prompts, existing Jaycon assets and any other specialized tool the task requires. Canva is used only when a piece must be editable by a non-designer. 4. Design & production. Produce the piece following the workflow for its type: Other materials: one-pagers, case studies, flyers, infographics, email graphics, icons, diagrams, event materials, sales materials, internal graphics, and product and manufacturing visuals. 5. Delivery, feedback & revisions. Send the first version to the requester, apply revisions and resend until the piece is approved. 6. Final file management. Export the required final formats, keep the editable source file and store the approved version in the correct Jaycon Google Drive folder for future reuse. Requirements Minimum 6 years of professional graphic design experience, including brand-level work. Advanced Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Proven experience building or maintaining a brand identity system (brand book, typography, color, iconography, layout, composition). Strong social media design plus motion graphics and short-form video editing. Solid presentation and editorial layout skills. Web graphics experience and UI/UX sensibility; Figma. Ability to prepare production-ready files for print and manufacturing. Photo editing, retouching and product composition. Comfortable using AI image and video tools as part of the creative workflow. Strong written and spoken English and clear, proactive communication with technical and commercial teams. Highly organized with files, naming, versioning and deadlines; able to work independently in a remote setup. Reliable overlap with US Eastern Time business hours. Nice to Have An active Behance and/or Dribbble portfolio is a strong plus. Experience turning technical or engineering content into clear visuals (prototyping, PCB, injection molding, manufacturing, product development). 3D and render tools such as KeyShot, Blender or SolidWorks Visualize for product visualization. Canva, for building templates that non-designers can edit on their own. B2B, industrial or hardware brand experience.
