Your Role

As a Mgr / Sr. Mgr Solution Architect in Digital Manufacturing as part of our Capgemini Invent's Intelligent Industry practice, you drive digital manufacturing transformations for global clients. You lead the solutioning of modern factory platforms, leveraging AI and analytics to boost insights, decisions, and outcomes. The role bridges strategy, technology, and execution, turning future manufacturing visions into scalable, compliant solutions.

You will:

• Design and plan modern, next-generation digital manufacturing solutions.
• Lead client projects to deliver AI-powered manufacturing improvements.
• Advise on current and future factory platforms for ROI-driven outcomes.
• Define IT/OT integration using industry standards (ISA-95/88).
• Mentor teams, promote AI literacy, and drive scalable delivery.
• Manage senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
• Develop proposals and RFPs highlighting AI benefits and impact.
• Deliver AI-driven manufacturing solutions by leading end-to-end client projects from design through execution.
• Manage risks, vendors, and ensure sustainable manufacturing operations.

Your Skills + Experience

You bring strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understand how these capabilities apply to enterprise transformation. You are able to identify and support AI‑enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness, and you have experience working in AI‑augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, and solution development. You collaborate effectively across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI‑driven solutions, with a solid understanding of responsible AI principles such as ethics, privacy, security, and governance. You demonstrate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset around emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8–15 years in digital manufacturing consulting.
• Strong MES, IT, OT, shopfloor to topfloor integration solution design experience.
• Project management experience.
• Proven experience demonstrating problem solving, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• AI literacy and experience applying analytics or automation in manufacturing.
• Team leadership, planning, and delivery governance experience.
• Experience working with engineering, quality, operations, corporate, IT, and site functions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, solution design, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience convincing and selling new systems or innovation in manufacturing.

Nice To Have Experience

• Experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, GMP, LIMS, EBR.
• Scaled digital manufacturing initiatives across a plant network.
• Agile/Scrum certification and agile delivery experience.
• Vendor certifications or training in digital manufacturing / smart factory platforms.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $135,900 - $265,880.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
