Business Services Consultant - Workforce Operations

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Services Consultant – Workforce Operations.
 
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract w/ extension.
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Minneapolis, MN – 3 days onsite
 
Overview: Client is seeking a detail-oriented Business Services Consultant to support workforce operations, governance, and planning across a global technology organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within structured processes, managing workforce requests, tracking approvals, and delivering executive reporting. You will partner with Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Recruiting, and Workforce Management teams to ensure workforce activities move efficiently while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and visibility throughout the process.
 
As a Business Services Consultant – Workforce Operations, you will:
 
Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Review, validate, and process workforce-related requests before they move through approval workflows.
• Manage checklist-driven activities and ensure all required process steps are completed accurately.
• Reconcile data across multiple systems to maintain consistency and identify discrepancies.
• Track workforce requests, hiring activities, and approvals while providing regular status updates.
• Compile workforce reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership using workforce and recruiting data.
• Support workforce planning activities, including headcount tracking, hiring forecasts, and organizational updates.
• Partner with Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Workforce Management teams to ensure requests align with business priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, increase efficiency, and enhance workflow visibility.
• Create executive presentations and communicate workforce insights, risks, and recommendations.
• Support strategic workforce initiatives, governance activities, and special projects as needed.

 
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience supporting workforce operations, business services, business operations, workforce planning, program coordination, organizational effectiveness, change management, or process improvement.
• Experience working within structured workflows, approval processes, request management, or operational support functions.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience reconciling information across multiple systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• Ability to compile data from multiple sources and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience creating presentations and executive summaries using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $41- $46 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
