This position is responsible for hotel maintenance including preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and responding to emergencies.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**Performance Expectations:**1. Able to identify, report, and perform maintenance throughout the property such as mechanical, electrical, painting, elevator maintenance, carpentry, and plumbing.2. Responsible for the completion of scheduled repairs, emergency repairs and preventive repairs of hotel facilities and equipment throughout the hotel as assigned.3. Continuously update and maintain accurate maintenance records.4. Responds to all calls, requests for repairs, and work orders in guest rooms, public and staff areas, as assigned by management, in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.5. Maintain work area in an orderly and clean fashion.6. Ensure all tools/equipment used are returned to the shop and/or secured in proper storage area.7. High level understanding of emergency procedures to assist in handling emergencies to protect our guests and team members and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.8. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.9. Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and MDS requirements.10. Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.11.
