Tech - CT

Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled CT Tech to provide weekend day coverage at a busy hospital. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment and supporting emergency room procedures while working closely with experienced hospital staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans with proficiency on GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 Slice scanners.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, image acquisition, and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation within Meditech and Synapse PACS systems.
• Collaborate effectively with hospital staff, without the need for interventional experience.
• Follow hospital policies, including IV contrast and scanning protocols.
• Uphold safety standards and deliver excellent patient care during high-volume ER shifts.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT RT ( R ) ( CT ) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
• Current ARRT certification in radiography and CT.
• Demonstrated competence in performing comprehensive CT exams.
• Ability to work weekends (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM).
• Strong knowledge of departmental policies and safety practices.
