Acute Care 6 (MedSurg) - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Nurse aides available; CNAs are generally 1:8 to 1:10 and may serve as sitters. - Telemetry patients are monitored on a different unit. - Housing: BDE visited these properties in May 2018, and all are gated, safe, clean and regularly have availability. • Princeton Place- ask for Della • Summer Lane- ask for Amy • Creekwood- • Greystone- • Hotel- Merry Acres Inn- Will give a $60/night rate if they mention that they are on contract at Phoebe Putney. Nice, recently remodeled and in a nice part of town.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: - Float to all acute care and cardio units to care for medical patients, or to EC for acute care patient holds.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
