Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6, ensuring quality care delivery.
• Assist with orientation and training within the MedSurg department.
• Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to infection control standards, including fingernail policy compliance.
• Participate in open book exams during orientation, achieving 90% or higher.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with 50-mile radius compliance requirement.
• Driver's license required to verify location eligibility.
• BSN strongly preferred; must have active BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Familiarity with acute care settings and MedSurg practices.
• Ability to support additional floating needs to PCU or Burn units.
