Position WK Medical Center – Shreveport, LA Respiratory Therapy – Night Shift (7 P.M. – 7 A.M.), Full‑time. Posted 04/10/2026. Req # 9276. Overview Willis Knighton Health is North Louisiana’s largest healthcare system. As a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) at WK Medical Center, you will provide respiratory care to patients in the Emergency Department, CCU, ICU, PACU, PICU, and NICU (Level III). Future opportunities include the Bronchoscopy Lab, Pulmonary Function Lab, Hyperbaric, Wound Care Clinic, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. RRTs with at least 6 months of CCU experience will be considered for training and participation on the ECMO Team. Respiratory Therapists trained for NICU are also members of the ground and air transport call team. We welcome both experienced professionals and new graduates. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy to patients in the Emergency Department, CCU, ICU, PACU, PICU, and NICU (Level III). Participate in future specialty areas such as Bronchoscopy Lab, Pulmonary Function Lab, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Clinic, and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Assist in training and participation on the ECMO Team for RRTs with qualifying CCU experience. Serve as part of the ground and air transport call team for NICU‑trained respiratory therapists.
