Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort during treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
Chairside Assistance:
Assist the dentist during procedures, including handing instruments, suctioning, and retracting.
Anticipate the dentist’s needs to ensure a smooth workflow.
Instrument Preparation and Sterilization:
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and work areas.
Set up and organize instruments and materials for each procedure.
Administrative Duties:
Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing or insurance paperwork.
Answer phone calls and assist with front-desk operations as needed.
X-rays and Diagnostics:
Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Maintain X-ray equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Compliance and Safety.
Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
