Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele in Morrisville, Vermont, is a travel, temporary assignment beginning 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks. The position offers a pay range of $2,125–$2,169 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts rotate, including nights and varied scheduling, in a hospital setting providing age-specific direct patient care. The RN will practice within the Nursing Process and the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care, taking on leadership responsibilities such as delegation and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies governing health care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver age-specific direct patient care using the Nursing Process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for Med Surg Tele patients; document per standards.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to clinical changes.
- Exercise leadership by delegating tasks to other team members and supervising care delivery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe care plans and smooth transitions.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and the department’s standards of care; uphold patient safety and infection control.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) and de-escalation training must be active prior to contract start or booked by orientation
- Experience: Relevant RN experience in medical-surgical telemetry settings; travel nursing experience preferred
- Shift availability: Ability to work nights and rotating shifts
- Work setting: Comfortable working in a hospital environment
