The Erebus Program is a newly awarded 7‑year effort delivering cutting‑edge intelligence and geospatial data management applications and services to the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency (NGA). The program supports over 14,000 intelligence analysts worldwide. Role Summary As an Embedded System Engineer on the Erebus software development SCRUM team, you will assist with system modeling, requirements definition and user outreach to ensure proper design of the software architecture. You’ll work with Scrum processes, system modeling tools like Cameo, and use Jira and Confluence for requirements management. Responsibilities Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to the system architecture design. Model system components with Cameo and document requirements using Jira and Confluence. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and ensure alignment with technical solutions. Perform user outreach and support training initiatives. Basic Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles, system architecture, and design. Experience with modeling tools such as Cameo. Experience creating artifacts with Jira and Confluence. Experience working within a Scrum team. TS/SCI clearance required to start the position. Desired Skills Knowledge of GEOINT analytic workflows. Understanding of Cedalion or Orchestration Services applications. Previous experience working on a software program. Comfortable completing user outreach and training. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
