Nothing in this section is meant to create a contractual benefit, just a glimpse into the way we show up for each other and make Jaxon more than a place to work!Primary Duties:Develop new software solutions throughout their full life cycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentationContribute to existing Python and MERN stack projects through development, debugging, testing, and documentationContribute to SCRUM celebration meetings, including standups, reviews, and retrospectivesAssist with software installation in the field including on-site debugging as neededDevelop front-end and back-end software solutions, with testing architectureMaintain and troubleshoot legacy software applicationsRequirementsRequired Job Qualifications:Bachelor's (or advanced degree) in Computer Science preferred; degrees in Computer Engineering or related technical fields will be considered with relevant experience2+ years of professional experience with Python 3, HTML, and JavaScript2+ years of professional experience with the MERN software stack2+ years of professional experience with Git/GitLab version control systems2+ years of professional experience with AGILE/SCRUM software development methodologiesReliable attendance and the ability to manage time and priorities independentlyDemonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficienciesWillingness to provide customer support (typically 5% travel)Desired Job Qualifications:3+ years of professional experience software development/managementProfessional experience using Java, C#, C++, or similar programming languagesProfessional experience with CI/CD Pipelines, wxPython, cxFreezeExperience designing software user interfaces with existing hardwareExperience with SCPI command structureDemonstrated skill in technical writing and/or documentationWho We're Looking For:You're the kind of person who doesn't just push code, you show up ready to build, learn, and grow.
