Step Above Detailing is Cincinnati's largest mobile auto detailing company. We run a fleet of three fully equipped vans out of our shop at 415 Wards Corner Rd in Loveland (right off I-275) and service clients across the entire Greater Cincinnati area. We were founded in 2019, acquired one of our competitors along the way, and have built our reputation on one thing: consistent, inspection-grade quality on every single vehicle.

We are hiring a full-time Mobile Auto Detailer to join the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will run detailing services out of one of our vans, mostly at clients' homes and workplaces, with some work at the shop. Interiors, exteriors, carpet shampooing, leather cleaning, paint work. Every job is finished to a written standard and checked against a checklist, so you always know exactly what "done" looks like. At the end of the day you restock and reset your van so it's ready to roll the next morning.

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. We are a service business, so start and end times flex a little depending on the day's route.

PAY AND GROWTH

$17.00/hour starting, plus tips. Our clients tip well for good work, and it adds up.

More importantly, there is a real path up. We promote from within. Techs who prove they can hold our standard move into lead roles: running their own van, training new hires, and eventually helping run day-to-day operations. Those roles come with meaningfully higher pay. If you want a job where showing up and doing it right actually gets you somewhere, this is it.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

No detailing experience required. We have our own systems, products, and techniques and we will train you from day one. What we can't train is work ethic, so here is what matters:

- You take pride in doing things right, not just done

- You are reliable: on time, every day

- You are comfortable with physical work, on your feet, in the heat and cold

- You are friendly and professional face-to-face with clients

- You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (you will be driving a company van)

- You have an eye for detail: you notice the streak on the glass and the crumb in the seat crevice

If you have detailing experience, great, we'll put it to use. If you don't, come ready to learn.
