Armed School Police Officer - Birdsboro, PA

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr Part time shift Shift: Monday through Friday | 7:00AM to 3:00PM Job Summary Patrols school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptive or illegal actions, access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism on an assigned or rotating shift. Performs a variety of assignments which can require being in a fixed location or a mobile unit or being exposed to uncontrolled and/or unpredictable conditions. Performs duties in uniform or in plainclothes depending on the type of assignment. Required Qualifications/Certifications PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (ACT 235) Act 120 ACT 67 (NASRO) certification, with training provided by Security Care Retired or former Police Officer Weapons Qualification Pass pre‑employment drug testing Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) High School graduate Knowledge of PA Laws & district policies Minimum of 4 years of police experience Working knowledge of office equipment Excellent organizational skills and abilities Current Act 34 and FBI Clearances, and any other clearances required by Pennsylvania law Benefits As a part‑time SPO with US Security Care you will receive paid training and sick time, free HR‑218 yearly recertification and 401K. #J-18808-Ljbffr
