Lab Technician - Contractor | Covington, GA | $26/hr | M-F 9am-6pm | In-Office

About the Role

Responsibilities

- Conduct product testing and complaint investigations for UCC and OEM products
- Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Create and manage investigation files in Trackwise complaint system
- Analyze data, draw conclusions, and present findings to engineering and management teams
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, FDA, and corporate regulations
- Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and product legal manufacturer groups
- Provide technical quality support and assist in resolving quality issues
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and perform all tasks with high attention to detail
- Work safely in a biohazard laboratory setting and adhere to all safety protocols

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a regulated industry (internships/co-ops included)
- Technical or Associate degree in a science field preferred
- Proficient with MS Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookup
- Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory bench methods and instrumentation
- Familiarity with GMP, GLP, OSHA, ISO, FDA, and other regulatory guidelines
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

- Prior laboratory experience
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM, etc.)
- Experience with medical device regulation or international standards
- Trackwise complaint management system experience
