Description: The Sterile Processing Technician will work night shifts. The schedule will be Monday through Friday with holiday rotation. Weekend rotation may also be required. The role involves floating within the scope to meet facility needs. Experience in sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping is required. Candidates must have experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, transplant, and gynecology cases. National certification such as CBSPD or HSPA is required. BLS certification is not required. Candidates must provide all requested time off at the time of submission. Approval of time off requests will be based on departmental needs. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers are expected to have prior Level I Trauma experience. The candidate must possess skills in aseptic technique and equipment cleaning. They should have expertise in high-level disinfection, scope and probe reprocessing, and proper selection of wrapping materials. This role requires the ability to assemble sterilization trays and use washers and sterilizers effectively.
