Job Details: Location: Santa Cruz, California Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT) Shift Schedule: Evenings; Shift Hours: 8 hours; Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0 hours Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician or in a similar role. Additional Information: Call for night shift coverage. The unit maintains a 1:1 ratio in the operating room, which features Cerner Surginet electronic medical records system, Phillips telemetry, Draeger ventilators, and anesthesia tech support. The facility requires COVID-19 vaccination. Float: Float rotation may be required. Shift Notes: The shift runs from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with potential call responsibilities on weekends and holidays.
