2nd Shift Supervisor

LOCATION: 12930 Old Virginia Rd, Reno, NV 89521 About the role: The 2nd Shift Supervisor requires a determined individual interested in helping our business grow by promoting a culture of teamwork, dedication and superior customer care. You will be responsible for supporting the management with directing the daily activities of multiple production departments in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of hands‑on CNC machining experience and proven leadership skills to maintain high morale, quality standards, and continuous workflow. What you’ll do: Complete production requirements by scheduling and assigning employees where appropriate Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plan for alternative actions Ensure all procedures are in place and activities align with company goals and objectives Lead by example with a positive "can do" attitude that motivates others in the location Enforce quality standards and procedures Proactively identify and prevent quality issues from occurring Commit to ongoing improvement in the workplace by proactively seeking feedback and monitoring operational processes Perform inventory counts Assist with shipping and receiving of materials Perform machine operations and fabrication Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift Enforce basic housekeeping standards and Company-implemented safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.) Develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service Perform other duties as assigned We are looking for passionate leaders who bring initiative and creativity while putting the customer at the center of all they do! What you’ll need: 5+ years of machining manufacturing experience, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity Ability to lead a team up to 15 with strong conflict‑resolution skills, excellent communication, and a calm demeanor under pressure. Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with limited support from management Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T, use precision measuring tools and adjust CNC machines.
