California Workers' Compensation Adjuster

Managing a caseload of California Workers' Compensation claims, the full-time remote Claims Adjuster II will handle moderate to complex medical and indemnity cases, establish reserves, and coordinate medical treatment while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Key responsibilities Manage a portfolio of California WC claims from initial contact through closure, including litigation cases Establish accurate reserves and develop action plans while evaluating compensability Coordinate medical treatment and work with defense counsel to proactively resolve claims Required qualifications Minimum of 2 years of California Workers' Compensation claims experience Strong knowledge of California WC law, statutes, and claim procedures Ability to work Pacific hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PDT CA adjuster license or ability to obtain within the state-mandated timeframe Self-directed and organized, with experience managing a full caseload remotely
