Shift Leader - YF

TRC Talent is looking for a Shift Leader for a client of ours in Fountain Inn, SC!

Job Summary:

As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence and quality performance while leading a team of Quality Inspectors. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, attention to detail, customer satisfaction, and team development are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys coaching employees, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational success.

Job Details:

• Monday - Friday; 6:45am - 7:00pm OR 6:45pm - 7:00am

• Pay: $17.40/hr($2.00 night shift premium)

• Temp to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and empower a team of Quality Inspectors to ensure productivity and adherence to quality standards

• Verify inspectors have the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for each work order

• Conduct multiple quality validations per inspector throughout the shift

• Perform accurate data entry, reporting, and timekeeping functions

• Complete pass-down reports and provide customer quality reports at the end of each shift

• Communicate important information regarding safety, PPE compliance, scheduling, sign-in/out procedures, and break periods

• Enforce all customer PPE and safety requirements

• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and recognize achievements

• Maintain open communication with leadership and promptly escalate customer concerns

• Identify employees with growth potential and support career development opportunities

• Track attendance, address performance concerns, and provide guidance as needed

• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities

• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

• Customer-service focused with strong problem-solving skills

• Flexible schedule and ability to support multiple locations

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current vehicle insurance

• Ability to travel within the operating region

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Required to wear PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and hard hats
