Respiratory Therapist

This is a 15-week contract position.

Day Shift (0630-1900), Three twelve hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide continuous airway management and support for patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Responsibilities include ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous airway management.
• Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator needs.
• Consult with physicians regarding respiratory care.
• Administer CPR and other aspects of respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in respiratory care.
• Must possess a current State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapist license (application must be submitted upon acceptance).
• Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (NRP preferred).
• Proof of flu vaccination is required prior to contract start date or an approved medical/religious exception.
