Welder / Fabrication & Tank Truck TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabrication & Tank Truck Technician to join a well-established manufacturer specializing in commercial tank trucks and trailers.This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on MIG and TIG aluminum welding experience who enjoys fabrication, mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and working on heavy-duty equipment.If you have experience in metal fabrication, truck and trailer repair, industrial equipment, or mechanical assembly, we want to hear from you!What You'll Be DoingPerform MIG and TIG welding, primarily on aluminum components.Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair tank truck and trailer components.Operate fabrication equipment, including press brakes, shears, and other shop machinery.Assist with hydraulic system installations, maintenance, and repairs.Perform mechanical repairs, component replacements, and general equipment assembly.Read and interpret basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.Work closely with the shop team to complete projects safely and efficiently.Maintain high standards for weld quality, craftsmanship, and workplace safety.What We're Looking ForMinimum 1 year of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience, including aluminum welding.Minimum 2 years of mechanical or mechanic experience.Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.Experience working with hand tools and fabrication equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have your own basic hand tools.Preferred ExperienceTruck, trailer, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery repair.Press brake, shear, or other metal fabrication equipment.Hydraulic systems and component installation.Basic automotive electrical systems.OSHA, confined space, or hot work certifications.You do not need previous tank truck experience!
