Lab Technician

We are seeking a reliable Sample Preparation Technician to support high-throughput testing processes. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week Monday to Friday 6-month temporary/contract assignment located in Chesterfield, MO. There is potential for assignment to be extended.  What You Bring

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a lab, light manufacturing, quality control, or data-sensitive environment.

• Key Skills: High attention to detail, solid basic computer skills, and comfort with handling accurate, repetitive workflows.

• Physical Capability: Ability to alternate between standing and sitting for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliability: A proven track record of dependability, punctuality, and follow-through.

Work Environment & Safety

• Clean, professional lab setting at a premier Chesterfield campus.

• PPE Provided: Lab coat, eye protection, hearing protection, and specialized gloves (nitrile, cut-proof, dry-ice).

• Dress Code: Casual/Lab-compliant (Full-length pants and short/long-sleeve t-shirts required).

• Hazard-Free: No work at heights and no chemical exposure required.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Sample Extraction & Weighing: Accurately weigh, prepare, and extract samples to feed high-throughput analytical workflows.

• Maintain Exacting Standards: Ensure every task is completed with meticulous precision, ensuring quality data for downstream analysis.

• Lab Maintenance: Follow strict safety protocols, handle required lab equipment, and complete basic computerized tracking and data entry.
