JAVA/PYTHON/IAM Engineer : Vanguard Group

Job Title
This person will support RM0/Data Perimeter Projects.
The project is Data Perimeter - there is a YouTube video on AWS on Data Perimeter so would be good for someone to view and understand what project will entail. RM0 is an inhouse tool to acquire databases and provision users and roles. They need someone that can develop Java code from scratch and understand existing technology stack primarily written in Java and Python. They need to make enhancements in existing Java applications. They need to have strong experience with Java and AWS IAM experience. Within AWS, they need a very strong understanding and API technology and AWS Services (EC2, Lambda, SMS, Cloudformation, S3 Storage tech) RESTAPI's developed in Java Microservices. They use Python to develop infrastructure in cloud. Should have core understanding/provisioning IAM policies (groups, policies and controls). Data Storage services (Postgres, API Technologies, RedShift) They are going to work in data perimeter projects and should understand data storage technologies. This is a mix skillset between IAM engineer and Developer that has done IAM work.
Must haves:
- 8+ years of overall experience as an engineer/developer
- Must have solid development background in both Java and Python
- Experience with AWS Services and other API related technology (IAM, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)
- Experience in IAM Policy management/governance (groups policies and controls)
- AWS data storage: Postgres, RedShift, MySQL, MSSQL, DocumentDB, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache etc
