Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic interventions as directed by physical therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment.
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical well-being.
• Implement treatment plans set forth by physical therapists.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant - REQUIRED
• Valid Texas or Compact License - REQUIRED

Schedule

This position offers an 8-hour day shift, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Assignment Duration

This is a long-term contract position.
