Job Title: Plumbing Journeyman

Work Location: Lincoln NE and surrounding area

Work Arrangement: On-Site and field-based

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday; daily hours vary based on active business demands. This is a variable full-time role up to 40 hours per week with weekly hours fluctuating alongside seasonal business needs and project volume. To meet shifting operational deadlines occasional overtime evening or weekend work may be required.

Travel: Daily travel to residential/commercial job sites throughout the local branchs service region.

What Youll Do:

• Evaluate plumbing systems and provide homeowners with a Good Better Best range of solutions to address both immediate repairs and long-term system health.
• Clearly explain technical issues to customers and demonstrate the value of preventative maintenance and high-efficiency upgrades (e.g. tankless water heaters water filtration systems).
• Confidently present options and pricing on-site converting service calls into comprehensive solutions while maintaining high closing ratios.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements or cross-departmental needs (HVAC Electrical) and refer customers to internal experts to ensure whole-home comfort.
• Install maintain and repair plumbing systems with precision ensuring all work meets local codes and exceeds customer expectations.
• Respond to emergency situations make professional recommendations and perform required repairs to restore homeowner peace of mind.
• Utilize mobile technology to submit proper documentation photos and signed work orders for every job.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 3 years of hands-on experience in the service and repair of plumbing systems across residential commercial and industrial settings.
• Licensing: Must hold or be eligible to immediately obtain a valid Journeyman Plumber Registration with the City of Lincoln. Must possess a valid drivers license with an insurable record.
• Integrity: High integrity with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Skills: Ability to communicate technical jargon in a way that builds trust and guides homeowners toward the best investment for their home. Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to handle objections and close on-site sales professionally.
• Compliance : Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Must be able to stand walk and kneel for long periods throughout the day.
• The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items which can weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
• Must be comfortable and able to safely climb and work from ladders scaffolding or bucket trucks at various heights.
• Must be able to stoop kneel crouch crawl and balance in awkward positions.
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and is not limited by weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures including heat cold and humidity.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $27-$38 per hour

Range Basis: Within this range an individuals starting pay is determined by several factors including but not limited to relevant skills qualifications professional experience and internal equity across our organization.

Other Compensation: Overtime eligibility and performance-based incentive bonuses. See benefits listed above.
