Power Platform Specialist

Power Platform Specialist | Location: Hybrid | Contract

We are seeking a Power Platform Specialist to support and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions across internal systems. This hybrid role focuses on administration, development, integration, and support of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI environments.
• Maintain data connections, gateways, security configurations, and platform settings for Power Platform environments.
• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot system issues to maintain reliable operations.
• Ensure proper configuration and governance of Power Platform environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop Power Apps solutions.
• Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes.
• Build and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs.
• Create custom connectors and integration points for Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Use JSON data structures to troubleshoot and interpret API responses.
• Write and optimize XML queries for data retrieval and manipulation when needed.
• Ensure efficient data flow and accurate integration between systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform users.
• Develop training materials and provide guidance to improve user adoption.
• Maintain documentation for solutions, workflows, and platform best practices.
• Implement and maintain security policies and compliance controls for Power Platform solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and privacy standards.
• Stay current with Power Platform updates, new features, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and platform capabilities.
• Support strategic initiatives involving platform expansion and emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Strong experience with Power Apps development and configuration.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Power Automate workflows.
• Experience designing and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong experience integrating systems using REST APIs.
• Understanding of JSON data structures and API responses.
• Ability to write and optimize XML queries for data retrieval and integration.
• Familiarity with data connectors and integration techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• US citizens only: required security clearance support (Yes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-code or no-code development platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot capabilities.
• Experience with custom integrations across Microsoft ecosystem tools.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems and Power Platform pipelines.
• Background in business analysis, process automation, or process improvement.
• Experience working with Microsoft platform tools and ecosystem technologies.
