Customer Relations Specialist

We are seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to join our team at our client's headquarters in Cleveland. This is a 5-6 month contract, with possible extensions/permanent conversion. The role will be working onsite M-F. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while ensuring a high level of service and accuracy. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for customers, managing orders, resolving issues, and collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience. What You’ll Do Review and process customer purchase orders and releases in accordance with contract requirements Communicate with customers via phone, email, and digital platforms to address inquiries and resolve issues Coordinate order fulfillment, including tracking shipments and maintaining accurate order details Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (production, shipping, etc.) Maintain and monitor customer portals and websites related to order status and fulfillment Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships while supporting new customer onboarding Ensure accurate record keeping of contracts and documentation (both physical and electronic) Provide timely feedback on customer concerns, service issues, and improvement opportunities What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred 5+ years of customer service experience (manufacturing environment strongly preferred) Experience supporting order processing, contract review, or customer account management Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MRP/ERP systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
