The Challenge
The Mobile Software Engineer is a key member of Scrum/Development team and will be responsible for developing a robust IoT applications running on Android by leveraging existing/new technologies. The successful candidate will provide the technical depth in software architecture design, development, and validation.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop Android mobile apps for connected appliances and IoT devices
- Ensure Software Development Process is followed, and appropriate documentation produced
- Work in a cross-functional team to architect full end-to-end smart appliance solutions and meet program delivery commitment
- Improve and maintain mobile apps already released in the market
- Design and build strong testing infrastructure to maximize reliability
- Work closely with platform leaders, product line design teams, industrial designers, and web teams to define new feature rich applications
What You Need To Succeed
- 1-3 years of Android application development
- Knowledge of Android Operating System fundamentals
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java, knowledge of Flutter is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Work from UI/UX requirements, APIs, mockups to build functional, high-performance Android applications
- Outstanding analytical and self-motivated problem-solving attitude and good team player
