Job DescriptionThe Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care is seeking a committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at the Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders (CCUSO) in Cherokee. See below for more details.Work Schedule – We have the following shifts to offer with a $0.90/hour shift differential for PM shifts and a $1.00/hour shift differential for overnight shifts:PM: Work 4 shifts 1:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. every two weeksOvernight: Work 4 shifts 9:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. every two weeksORPM: Work 5 shifts 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. every two weeksOvernight: Work 5 shifts 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. every two weeksYou'll work a rotating schedule that includes working every third weekend. While the schedule is generally consistent, teamwork sometimes calls for flexibility beyond standard hours.What You'll DoAs an LPN at CCUSO, you will provide essential nursing care and therapeutic support to a specific high-risk population.
