Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that empower them to regain independence in daily living skills
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and facility guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to ensure the best outcomes for each patient
• Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of all services provided
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, promoting a safe healing environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active California OT license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• New graduates welcome to apply!

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment methods
• Patient evaluation and critical thinking skills
• Care planning and documentation practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
