Our management consulting team focuses on our clients’ critical business needs. The position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and requires candidates to be within commuting distance of the office. Regular in-office presence is expected to support cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and team effectiveness.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead and/or support projects around network strategy analytics and clinical integration, ambulatory efficiency and effectiveness, physician alignment, and value-based care
• Solving challenges for client success in all aspects of clinical care and value-based performance
• Counsel and guide clients on how to leverage data from systems to improve clinical and operational outcomes in coordination with our healthcare analytics team
• Collaborate with Plante Moran's healthcare revenue cycle team's projects while using your clinical expertise and knowledge
• Build and manage your own portfolio of projects and proposals from concept through completion

The qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years relevant experience in healthcare industry/operations
  • Clinical licensure (RN, RPh, PharmD, etc.) is a plus
  • Clinical leadership experience (manager, director, or above) is strongly preferred
• 5+ years of professional consulting experience with a history of selling work
• 5+ years’ experience with an Electronic Health Record system is preferred (Cerner, Epic, Meditech, or Allscripts, etc.)
• Project management experience required; LSS (Lean Six Sigma) is preferred
• Frequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 50%-75% overnight travel

This is an exempt position and may require working hours beyond the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $150,000-$185,000, plus bonus opportunity.
